Nothing deep & meaningful, just pics of my Lovelies....
One night I hope I'll be able to get the idea of how to load the photos, these are not in the order I wanted but the damn things take so long to load I'm not about to try & move them around.
So here goes ... captions under the pics....
This is "Attack of the Poddy Monsters" part 1. 255 & 233 are my little bucky boys.
255's mother died a few days after he was born.
233 was a reject - mum was a maiden & he was a very big kid - she wanted nothing to do with him.
The boys are 6 weeks old.
Not a poddy monster but a very cheeky little escape artist
Our Precious Tiny baby is growing.
This little girl was premmie & very very small but what she lacked in size she made up for in determination.
Meet 1554. She is my Blind Girl, born last year.
1554 again. She does have some sight & manages to get around, especially when she hears me arrive at the shed. She has the sweetest nature.
1554 and Roundie.
Roundie is also blind, he's a few years older than his little mate.
The name Roundie... well, when he gets stressed he runs around in circles.
These two are not in the main paddock, they live in a small yard off the side of the shed.
Poddy Monster Attack... part 2.
1833 is a lovely one - her mother rejected her at birth, she is 12 weeks old.
This baby loves me, follows me around the yard, chatting away in her little goat language, just wish I knew what she's talking about.
286 is 4 weeks old, and was also rejected by her mum.
Mum had twins early one morning in a big mob of does, another doe 'kidnapped' one of the kids.
As is customary in goat world ~ once kid is 'napped', the birth mother rejects the kid.
The lovelie Naah & Nova.
Nova was born November 1st.
Baby born December 2nd, 2012.
This liittle fellow looks like he's premmie - needed help... not sure that he's out of the woods yet.
I have been waiting for this kid to arrive...
(the last one for the year ...famous last words ...I found another kid later in the day).
Little Lovelie born November 29th
OK, my human Lovelies, that's all from the Old Goatie & her little Lovelies.
Until next time, maaaa &
Cheers from the middle of nowhere.
